Day 2: Back Squat
Our Personal Trainer Karl Gibson demonstrates a back squat. It’s always good to do weighted squats as it increases the intensity of the workout and leads to building lean muscle mass, which accelerates your metabolism, can aid to weight loss, increase your strength, posterior muscles and improve flexibility when done properly. An added benefit of increasing your lean muscle mass is that a higher percentage of calories are burned while you’re resting. Squats are a great exercise for that all important glute activation.
